...
I don't even know where to begin.
Go see it.
The more I think about it, the more I like it. Yesterday I'd have said it's my least favorite of the 3 (although that's kinda like saying it's my least favorite Billy Joel album [Nylon Curtain]). Today I think I consider it my favorite of the 3.
Every single person who has ever been a regular member of this web board will love this movie.
I'll say it again: GO SEE IT.

I saw it. The ending was such a tearjerker, and I didn't expect it.
I think I loved Toy Story 2 more, as this one...well, yeah. A lot of people in the audience were college kids, and I think a lot of us grew up on this movie, and really connected with it. /sigh
It was a great movie though, but it was definitely darker and moodier than the previous two.

Yeah, I was tearing up at the end, too. This one definitely speaks more to the older audience, the idea of kids growing up & moving on, and having the abandonment issue take center stage.
I tell you what, though. The ending hit the woman behind us a little more, because she was sobbing her eyes out. Wow.

This movie made me regret ever throwing out my old toys. It's a fantastic movie.

you've got a friend in me
you've got a friend in me
when the road looks rough ahead
and all you want is some warm beer and bread
you just remember what your ol' pal said
boy, you've got a Nintendo Wii
Yeah, you've got a friend in me
you've got a friend in me
you've got a friend in me
you've got Bubbles and Buttercup, too
Don't matter if you're Christian, Muslim, or a Jew
if you go to Mexico, you'll catch swine flu
and have an appendectomy
oh, you've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me
you've got a friend in me
I don't care how many letters they sent
the morning came, the morning went
pick up your money and pack up your tent
you ain't goin' nowhere
yeah, you've got a friend in me
Some people might be a little bit smarter than I am
Bigger and stronger too, maybe
But none of them will ever love you
The way I do
Except Kelly Hu
And as the years go by
GOONIES NEVER SAY DIE!
And you're gonna go see Toy Story 3
if you want a friend in me
yeah, you've got a friend in me
You've got a friend in me...
