Nekoshima
Originally produced for the November 2009 Japan Trip anthology, Journeys, “Nekoshima” has found a home at bentocomics.com. It’s the tale of a cat enthusiast who goes on a vacation to a feline-infested island. As I wanted it to be accessible to Japanese-speakers and didn’t want to bother with translation and all that, there’s no dialog – only speech balloons with pictures. I think it’s pretty neat.
