Bento Comics grew out of a discussion between some artists and programmers one evening after spending the weekend at Anime Boston. “Wouldn’t it be neat,” we posited, “if a person could go to a website, choose a bunch of different comics, and have them printed into a single custom anthology?”
Two years later, we launched Bento Comics, a site where a reader could do just that. Bento Comics aims to be the online repository for really awesome short stories and comics without a home, and present them for anyone who loves comics to pick and choose their favorites and get them compiled in their own personal anthology.
The site is a cooperative effort between the members of In The Attic 6. I, personally, provided site design and organization, and performed a much of the interface programming.
