Realms of Ishikaze

Realms of Ishikaze began its run with the launch of Wirepop.com, October 1, 2003.  It tells of the adventures of players in an online roleplaying game, where practically everything is user-generated.  Through the years, we’ve seen the main character Arashiko join the ranks of the administrators, her reluctant companion Denki open his own pub, and her devoted sidekick form a guild and mount a rebellion against the tyranny of advertisements.  The story is rated for Young Adults and updates every Wednesday and Saturday.

The print version of the comic is compiled in 7 full-color books and a black-and-white sampler, and are available for purchase through Wirepop.com.  Speaking of which, Wirepop is a subscription service, where a small monthly fee grants a reader access to the full archives and extra goodies of over a dozen comics, including Ishikaze.

Read the series at Wirepop.com.

Since Wirepop is down, could you perhaps move the comic somewhere to this site? I really enjoyed your other works and would love to read this one, too.

I see wirepop has closed down. I used to be a member years ago when I discovered Realms of Ishikaze. Is there anywhere else RoI can be read online?

    Thanks :o)

    Now that wirepop.com is closed.
Are there any other ways for us to either read or purchase Realms of Ishikaze?

It was my favorite comic at wirepop, but I never got around to buying a print before the site closed.

I’m considering, once bentocomics.com has been updated and put back online, it may find a home there. I will keep you all posted.
